About the role
The City is seeking a Finance Business Partner to work collaboratively alongside leadership teams within the organisation to deliver strategic financial planning, reporting and management accounting services across a diverse range of service areas.
This exciting opportunity will see the successful candidate use their strong analytical skills to support informed decision making across the organisation to ensure long term financial sustainability.
The successful candidate will play a key role in assisting in the improvement of financial system operations and performance to ensure high quality service delivery for both internal and external customers.

Do you have these key attributes?
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience in budget preparation, monitoring, and reporting.
- Strong and positive stakeholder engagement and management.
- Knowledge and experience of WHS and risk management processes.
About You
You are a qualified and experienced finance professional (eligible for CA / CPA) with strong skills in planning, budgeting, forecasting, reporting and interpreting complex financial data. You communicate effectively with stakeholders, work collaboratively and independently, and bring a high level of professionalism to support informed decision‑making and continuous improvement.
What's on offer?
- Competitive salary in the range of $91,883.62 - $96,719.60 + Superannuation, depending on your capabilities and experience
- Permanent Full Time position + 12 month Fixed Term Contract (which could lead to permanent opportunity)
- 35 hours per week
- Options to accrue flex time and flexible working arrangements
- Generous leave entitlements - long service leave after 5 years
- Scope for performance-based salary increases.
